The Community Health Improvement Center (CHIC), Frances Nelson Health Center (FNHC), and Coles County Community Health Center (CCCHC) are community health centers located in Central Illinois. The Community Health Improvement Center is located in Decatur, Illinois, Frances Nelson Health Center is a satellite clinic of CHIC’s located in Champaign, Illinois, and Coles County Community Health Center is located in Mattoon, Illinois. Our mission is to strive to provide exceptional, compassionate, and comprehensive health care to the underserved of Central Illinois while encouraging professional growth, teamwork, and respect toward our coworkers in the clinic and throughout the community.

Insurance and Payments
Both clinics accept Medicaid (including Kid Care and All Kids), Medicare, Township, most private health insurances, and IL Breast & Cervical Cancer and Stand Against Cancer programs. No patient desiring to be seen is ever turned away for an inability to pay.
